New Seahawks RB Eddie Lacy packed on more than 30 pounds this offseason, per report

Eddie Lacy is joining the Seahawks, but he’ll do so with a bigger gut than last season.

The former Packers running back reportedly has put on more than 30 pounds from the start of last season, coming in at 267.

RB Eddie Lacy visited Sea (his new team), Minn and GB in the last wk. For one of the three teams Lacy weighed 267. Listed last year at 234.

Lacy’s weight became a focal point last offseason when photos of him looking slimmer kept popping up online. The weight loss was a concerted effort by the running back after Packers coach Mike McCarthy made public comments about Lacy needing to trim down.

The Patriots’ 34-28 overtime win over the Atlanta Falcons in February brought home the fifth Super Bowl title for the franchise, and quarterback Tom Brady, coach Bill Belichick, and owner Robert Kraft are noted Trump supporters.

However, several members of the team have said publicly they plan to skip the traditional White House visit with Trump now in charge.

Amongst those skipping the trip are defensive lineman Chris Long, defensive Cheap Goalie Jerseys Soccer back Devin McCourty, tight end Marcellus Bennett and running back LaGarrette Blount.

“I just don’t feel welcome in that house,” Blount said in an interview on the Rich Eisen Show in February. “I’m just going to leave it at that.”

Defensive lineman Alan Branch and linebacker Dont’a Hightower have also spoken of skipping though they have not tied politics to their decisions.
